            <description>Discover bright new talent at our second annual exhibition of graduate photography. freshfacedandwildeyed09 recognises the immense breadth and dynamism of graduate and post-graduate photographic work emerging from colleges and universities across the UK each year. You can view the work online at www.photonet.org.uk/freshfacedandwildeyed09 All of the exhibiting artists and photographers in freshfacedandwildeyed09 have completed their UK-based course in visual arts in the last year and use photography as a primary component of their practice. Following an online application process, the selected artists are: Jonathan Baggaley, Benjamin Beker, Petros Chrisostomou, Eleanor Cleasby, Lucy Dawkins, Teresa Eng, Kathryn Faulkner, Leonora Hamill, Aileen Harvey, Hannah Hewett, Alexandra Hughes, Nae Bunthita Indhawong, Jessica Layton, Martina Lindqvist, Ellen Nolan, Tom Pope, Wendy Pye, Tomoko Sakanishi, Grace Schwindt, Nishant Shukla, Anthony Wallace, Michael Whelan and Dave Wyatt. This year's participants have been selected by Joy Gregory, photographer, Magda Keaney, Associate Curator Photographs, National Portrait Gallery, Brett Rogers, Director, The Photographers&amp;rsquo; Gallery and Ossian Ward, Visual Arts Editor, Time Out London.&amp;nbsp; We are also pleased to be be working with Getty Images who are offering two internships, and the possibility of funding for a photographic project, to two participants in freshfacedandwildeyed09. &amp;nbsp;</description>

Taken between 1915 and 1980 in the many places he lived, visited and worked &amp;ndash; including Argentina, France, Hungary, UK and USA &amp;ndash; Kert&amp;eacute;sz&amp;rsquo;s photographs are a celebration of the absorptive power and pleasure of reading.</description>
